Sermon Series: Reformed Worship

Why do we worship the way we do?
Is our order of worship simply the way it's always been done?

Our Presbyterian worship style has been described as the middle ground between the high liturgy of a Roman Catholic mass and the unstructured, congregation-centered worship of a Quaker service—but the truth is more complex and theologically grounded than that.

We are exploring why we worship the way we do this summer—reminding ourselves along the way to avoid the complacency that often comes with being comfortable in a certain style of worship and to recommit ourselves to worshipping God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—with all our hearts, all our souls, all our minds and all our strength (Mark 12:30).
